Motoblot Moves Along

August 5, 2020 | By Mike Seate

It’s become an unfortunate part of the motorcycle world that rallies and events are constantly being cancelled, postponed or modified. The most recent gathering to find itself altering course due the Coronavirus outbreak is one of our favorites; Chicago’s annual Motoblot festival, slated for September 25-27, has recently announced a major change of plans. Instead of occupying several blocks of the Windy City as in year’s past, the 2020 event will take place much sooner, on Saturday, August 30 at the Chicago Drive-In theater in Lakeview. Chief organizer Larry Fletcher says tickets to this scaled-down celebration of cafe racers, rock and roll and hot rods are limited, so anyone feeling the need to spend a day with like-minded petrolheads had better hurry on to www.motoblot.com for tickets. Larry says there will still be plenty of live bands to enjoy, loads of customized motorbikes and cars, while a smaller array of clothing, lifestyle and streetbike accessories will be on offer. It all kicks off at noon and yes, those pesky face masks are required. We hope to see you there!
