Regular readers of CRM will know how much we dig the new Royal Enfield 650 twins, having spent several weeks running the very capable and smart-looking retros. Well, come Sunday, August 11, you’ll have a rare chance to see just how good these new bikes are as Royal Enfield North America has just announced that several bikes will be on hand for demo rides during the 12th Annual Reader’s Ride-In Custom Show. We’re pretty excited about adding demos to our event and Team CRM is already busy mapping out a ride route through some of the incredibly twisty, scenic roads surrounding our home town of Sewickley. Both the cafe racer styled Continental GT and the more traditional Interceptor have the poise, power and ease of use to convince any skeptic that these are true, world-class motorbikes, so you’ll want to arrive early to sign up for a chance to test both. There will be a limited number of these organized rides, so make sure to turn up with the proper riding gear (helmet, jacket, boots and gloves) a valid motorcycle operator’s license and be ready to have a blast!
